Is Israel safe?
Israel is one of the safest countries in the world. Here's a video from a few years back with my wonderful clients.
Is paying for a private guide worth it?
A private guide is beneficial for several reasons. First, it's difficult to get around Israel using public transportation. Second, Israel is a complicated country with a rich and long history. Seeing it through the eyes of a professional gives a wider perspective. Tour guides in Israel go through rigorous training. According to a case study by the Ministry of Tourism, tour guides are the highest-ranking service in Israel.
How would I plan a trip to Israel?
The best recommendation is to let a professional handle everything for you.
Where would a tour guide take you?
Israel is small in size. You can see many highlights in 5-10 days. These would include Masada, Dead Sea, Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth and many more. Every tour is custom-made to fit your interests. For example, you could follow the footsteps of Jesus in the Holyland.
Who books sites and hotels?
After a conversation with me, I would construct an itinerary that fits your needs and requests. I always try to keep everyone happy with fun and interesting activities every day. We will use the itinerary as a basis for conversation and changes. Booking hotels is easy and I'm more than happy to do it for you. However, if you prefer booking your own hotels feel free to do so.
Do Tour Guides need a License?
Yes. Israeli tour guides go through extensive training and must be licensed.
Which vehicle do we use?
A large, comfortable and airconditioned van. It also has USB ports for charging your phone and a fridge to cool down your drinks. The van fits up to 7 people excluding the driver. It also has plenty of room for luggage. When touring with a larger group, we would rent a minibus with a separate driver. This will allow us to tour Israel comfortably.
How much does a custom-made private tour of Israel cost?
A common daily cost for guiding and transportation ranges from $850-$1000. This includes costs of up to 7 passengers. Larger groups could range from $1400-$1600, typically up to 20 people in a minibus.
